  • 'Tobacco - A threat to development'. Tobacco kills more than 7 million every year and it is contributes to more that 16% of  all non-communicable deaths. So, make the decision to put the cigarette away. Start by identifying why you crave ciagarettes. Is it to relax? Find healthier ways to wind down. Make a list of reasons to quit. Could it be you want a tobacco free zone for your children, or do you want to reduce your chances of developing certain diseases? That's a good place to start. Then, find support. Getting support from others increases your chances of reaching your goal. Finally, remember that if at first you don't succeed, try again!
